This is an oak chevet, night-table or bedside table which would be equally at home in any room of the house, designed by Jacques Adnet circa 1940/50. It is in good,original condition with some slight staining to the top and a stain in the drawer . (see pictures). It has one drawer . Measurements are 12" (30cm) deep, 19.5" (50cm) wide and 21.5" (55cm) high. A similar pair of oak daybeds sold at Christies New York March 9 2006 Sale 1634 lot 86 for US$16,800 .
